Greg Attwells

A songwriter without armour.

From the edge of Sydney’s coast, with dust still on his boots, Greg Attwells writes songs about what it costs to love without armour and to choose honesty over performance.

His songs move through desire and devotion, heartbreak and faith, ambition and collapse, fatherhood and inheritance. They are shaped by long roads, quiet reckonings, and the kinds of moments that don’t announce themselves until later. A beer with your dad. A call you almost didn’t make. A goodbye you didn’t know was final.

Written in the middle of real life and played without polish, these songs aren’t answers.

They’re altars. Places to stand still, tell the truth, and exhale.

An applied strategist.

In a world first, Greg led a national campaign that changed a law, raising the minimum age of social media from 13 to 16. The movement, 36 Months, set a global precedent and created a blueprint other countries are now studying.

Partnering with UNICEF to focus on future skills and the empowerment of girls in the second decade of life, Greg developed an innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum that was piloted in Burundi, the world’s poorest country. It has since been embedded into the national education system, with a permanent office inside the Ministry of Education.

Greg’s an applied strategist. He helps organisations make sense of complex problems and then leads the work into reality. He’s done that across government, education and business, particularly where the stakes are high and the outcome matters.

Work Greg has led has been recognised internationally across advertising, design, and social impact, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Spikes Asia, ADFEST, AWARD, Good Design, and Mumbrella — spanning public policy, education, and social change initiatives through 36 Months and Creatable.
